It’s that time to get a little older now.  Miley Cyrus’s Sweet 16 birthday party will be held at the Disneyland Resort in California.  There will be a firework spectacular, fun, music, and more.  Miley will also honor Youth Service of America who are amazing kids who help improve their communities.

Want to attend her birthday party, well you can tickets go on sale Saturday, August 30, at Noon EDT/9 a.m. PDT.  So if you want to go and party and hang out with Miley Cyrus there is your chance.  Miley will even sing a few songs on her birthday for her fans that will be in attendance so go wish her a Happy Birthday and have a good time.

Jamie Lynn Spears to Marry This Year

OK! Magazine has reported that Jamie Lynn Spears is planning on marrying fiance Casey Aldrige before the end of 2008. The 17-year-old former “Zoey 101″ star will have her big sister, Britney Spears, as her maid of honor and there are even talks that baby Maddie Briann may be carried into the ceremony in a basket decorated by flowers, OK! reports.

Despite her worldwide notoriety, Spears plans on keeping the ceremony close to home with only her closer friends. The setting for the wedding has not been confirmed but many think she will choose to have it in her new Louisiana home.

Bynes has been successful but it appears as though she might be looking to play new roles now that she’s growing up.

Jennifer Lopez Stays out of the Courtroom

As previously reported on various media fronts, Jennifer Lopez was hit with a subpoena for her then-boyfriend  Sean “Diddy” Combs involvement with a shooting in 1999. However, TMZ recently reported that J-lo will not have to appear in court because the actress/singer has “nothing to contribute to the case.”

In other J-lo news, the curvaceous actress will be coming back to the big screen in “The Governess”, scheduled to be released in 2009-2010.

Aly and AJ Thank Fans For Support

In a recent interview, pop stars Aly and AJ took some time out to thank their loyal fans:

“Thank you so much for all your support. For constantly being there for us, with the first record “Into The Rush” and “Insomniatic,” as well. Keep looking out for us, we’re going to be revamping our Web site and looking forward to building a fan community for everyone to come on, chat, and blog. And so yeah, we’re also going to be going on the road again soon, so come and see us. You’re all amazing, and we love you.”

The girls have been busy touring in Japan and are working on their third album release. They will also be working with Tim Burton in a new “Alice in Wonderland” movie due out in 2010.

Miley Cyrus passes on kiss with Katy Perry

It was recently reported that singer Katy Perry, whose “I Kissed a Girl” have been at the top of the charts for quite some time, was hoping to lock lips with Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus in the spirit of the infamous Britney Spears-Madonna kiss.

Cyrus, however, rejected any proposition from Perry.

“No thanks,” Cyrus said with a laugh. “She sang on my record. So I think she’s kind of getting back at me, because she was doing harmonies and backgrounds.”
